Journeys

JOURNEYS. I am like a small child and bad moods or upset are alleviated by being driven around in the car. The movement and visual stimuli mollifies and sedates my mood. In the last few years I have been taking hundreds (maybe thousands) of images of moving scenery from the car with my cheap camera phone. And now I m exploring the possibility of creating work based around this idea of movement and sedation (for want of a better word). This is just a sketch to see how charcoal and chalk work. Most of this series will be black and white with just a few highly coloured pieces to break it up a bit.
